Fascia
The fascia boards are the long boards that run around the property under the last row of tiles. They help to support that last row, provide a place to mount the guttering, and form part of the weatherproofing of your roof. Keeping them in good condition is important!
Soffits
Soffits are the boards that are mounted horizontally under the fascia boards, connecting them to the walls of the property. They are also where we add ventilation for your roof, which is essential for avoiding the build up of condensation, which can quickly lead to damp problems.
Guttering
Without proper gutters, rainwater would run straight down the side of your property, damaging the brickwork. During heavy rain, a roof can expect to deal with several gallons of water per second, and the gutters need to be able to channel it all away safely. If the gutters are inadequate for the volume of water, or if they become blocked, water can back up and get under the tiles, leading to damage.
