Useful information from your local roofing firm

1. Estimated Fitting Dates
 

• Please note that any dates provided by AAA Roofing are estimated fitting dates only and are subject to change due to:

• - Weather conditions

• - Unforeseen additional work on previous jobs

• - Factors outside of our control

• We encourage you to contact the office regularly to check your estimated fitting date. We will also aim to contact you the day before we are due to arrive on site.

2. Payment Schedule

​

• - 20% deposit to secure booking

• - 50% stage payment once scaffolding is in place and works commence

• - 30% balance on completion to agreed standard

• The final payment must be made prior to scaffold removal. This allows AAA Roofing to issue a “job complete” notice to the scaffolders once all parties are satisfied works are complete and payment has been received.

• AAA Roofing may carry out further cleaning at a later date if required.

 

3. Variations & Site Decisions

• During the course of works, it may be necessary to alter the method, materials, or scope of work due to site conditions, safety requirements, or practical constraints.

• Where such changes:

• - Do not reduce the agreed specification or quality of the finished result, and

• - Deliver an equivalent or improved outcome

• AAA Roofing reserves the right to proceed without delay, even where the client cannot be contacted immediately.

• In these circumstances, the agreed contract value will remain unchanged.

• If any variation results in additional cost, this will be communicated to the client as soon as reasonably possible and agreed where practical. However, AAA Roofing reserves the right to proceed with essential works where required to maintain safety, weatherproofing, and program continuity.

 

4. Unforeseen Works

• If unforeseen issues are discovered during the works that require immediate action to prevent damage, delays, or safety risks, AAA Roofing may proceed without prior approval where necessary.

• Any additional costs will be clearly evidenced and communicated.

 

5. Satellite / TV Signal

​

• Should works or scaffolding interfere with your satellite or TV signal, an optional subcontracted service can be arranged by AAA Roofing to:

• - Provide a temporary signal

• - Restore services upon completion

• This service is available for a fee of £200.

 

6. Internal Disturbance Disclaimer

​

• Roofing and building works may cause minor internal movement. This can result in:

• - Small cracks

• - Nail pops

• - Minor cosmetic disturbances to ceilings

• AAA Roofing is not responsible for minor cosmetic repairs such as filling or decorating.

• However, any significant or accidental damage is covered by our insurance and will be remedied.

 

7. Flat Roof Disclaimer

​

• When installing flat roofs, AAA Roofing cannot be held responsible for existing structural issues that may result in standing water.

• All flat roof systems installed are:

• - Fully waterproof

• - Designed to withstand standing water for at least the duration of the warranty

• Clients may request additional joinery works at extra cost to improve drainage falls if required.

 

8. Loft Protection

​

• While we take care to minimise dust and debris entering your loft space, we strongly advise that any valuable items are:

• - Removed, or

• - Adequately covered

• prior to works commencing.
